ELISABETTA LANZONI, Artist and Painter

Biography.

Elisabetta Lanzoni was born at Imola in 1961. She graduated from the G.Ballardini Art Institute of Faenza, as ''Maestro of Art'' and ''Maestro of Decorative Art''.
She was awarded three-years scholarship with the International Museum of Ceramics at Faenza, collaborating with the architect Bruno Munari in the preparation and management of the ''Play with Art'' ("Giocare con l'Arte") atelier.

She later graduated from the Painting Course at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Ravenna, with highest honours, and took part in many painting exhibitions.

In 1989 she established the ''Athena'' company and devoted herself to the research, cataloguing and conservation of artistic, literary, archaeological and museum artifacts.
She is a well-known and respected painter, speicalizing in the decoration of antique musical instruments: harpsichords and spinets.
